‘He deserves that’: Richmond legend’s reaction to reports on Dustin Martin’s future

Richmond legend Matthew Richardson says Dustin Martin deserves the right to explore his options as his contract at the club comes to an end.

Multiple reports have now suggested Martin could look to continue his glittering career at Gold Coast under old coach Damien Hardwick.

“It was a great run,” Richo said on Wide World of Sports.

“If (the reports are) true, there won’t be one Richmond supporter that won’t say ‘good luck Dusty and thank you for everything you’ve given’.

“If that what Dustin wants, he deserves that.”
