Hawthorn lodges paperwork to land Ty Vickery

Hawthorn has officially moved to recruit Richmond forward Ty Vickery.

The Hawks today lodged the paperwork to acquire Vickery as part of the Free Agency period.

Richmond have until Monday to match the two-year deal.

The 200cm key forward/ruck has played 119 games since making his debut in 2009, booting 158 goals. 

‘At 26 years of age Ty has plenty of football left to play and we look forward to seeing what he can produce,’ Hawthorn Recruiting and List Manager Graham Wright said.
