GWS pushing for extra rookie spots and changes to bidding system

GWS chief Dave Matthews has revealed the Giants have asked the AFL for extra rookie spots on their list and scrapping the bidding system for emerging players in western Sydney.

“We’ve actually got a submission in with the AFL,” he told 3AW Football.
