Guns in Melbourne: Good Samaritan shot at in Wyndham Vale
3AW MORNINGS EXCLUSIVE
A good Samaritan has been shot at in Wyndham Vale in the latest example of escalating gun play in the streets of Melbourne.
The man was driving down Eureka Drive about 4.10pm on Wednesday when he noticed a car parked across the street.
He pulled over to make sure the female driver was OK.
As he approached her, he heard shouting from behind.
He turned to see three men approaching.
Worried for his safety, the man returned to his car and drove away.
While driving away he heard a loud cracking noise.
He later discovered bullet damage to his car.
Detectives are investigating whether the incident was related to yesterday’s shooting incident involving police at Hoppers Crossing.
