Gun midfielder welcomes potential ‘massive honour’ of being named top draft pick
Potential number one pick Jagga Smith has welcomed the pressure that would come with being taken with this year’s top draft selection.
The smooth-moving 182cm midfielder has impressed playing Oakleigh Chargers and is nervously waiting to find out where he’ll be playing footy next year.
While some players have previously shied away from the pressure which comes with being the number one pick, Smith says he wants to be as good as he can be.

“I am that person (who wants to be the number one pick),” he said on Wide World of Sports.
“It would be a massive honour. I love footy and I strive to be the best at it that I can be.”
