Greens propose two-year freeze on rent increases

The Greens are calling for a two-year freeze on rent increases and rent caps of one per cent a year after that point.

Max Chandler-Mather MP, spokesperson for housing and homelessness, told Neil Mitchell there was a crisis in affordable housing and it was only fair.

“We think it’s very reasonable,” he said.
