Greens leader Adam Bandt believes an minority government could be a good thing for Australia, saying there were several issues which needed to be addressed.

An election will take place at some point before May next year, with many tipping that the Albanese government could call an early vote before the end of 2024.

The Greens leader told 3AW Mornings says supermarket price gouging and rising mortgages were some of the issues he wanted his party to address.
