The Government are looking at increasing the penalties for non-compliance with helmets and footpaths, which will come into effect in October.

Assistant Commissioner for Road Policing Glenn Weir joined 3AW Drive spoke about the issues with e-scooters.

“We pushed really hard to make them (e-scooter use) over 18,” Weir said on 3AW Drive.
