Gold nuggets stolen in series of aggravated burglaries in Melbourne’s south-east

Four businesses have been targeted in a series of aggravated burglaries, with the offenders taking off with items including gold nuggets.

The first business hit was a sporting club on Glennie Avenue Oakleigh South around 1.45am on Monday, with two gardening businesses on Springvale Road Braeside burgled around a 3.15am.

In the final incident, a restaurant was targeted on Nepean Highway in Highett.

On each occasion, cash was stolen, with gold nuggets taken from one of the gardening businesses.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
