Former Australian shooting star Russell Mark admits it’s hard to see a long-term future for the Commonwealth Games.

Tom Elliott says they’ve run their race, pointing at a lack of interest at the upcoming games (they start this week).

Victoria is due to host the 2026 games.

Russell Mark, who competed at six Commonwealth Games, told Tom Elliott there was no doubt interest in the games had waned.

“It’s a tough one,” he said.
