‘Global boiling’: UN chief issues grim warning

The head of the United Nations has warned the planet is entering an era of “global boiling”.

UN secretary general, António Guterres says scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

He says the figures are a disaster for the world.
