Geelong honchos likely to attract interest from AFL House

Geelong shapes as a possible loser from the scandal at AFL House, with club honchos Brian Cook and Steve Hocking mooted as possible replacements for Simon Lethlean.

The 3AW Football team addressed what was next for the AFL following revelations Lethlean and another senior official had “inappropriate relationships” with women in the industry.

Mick Warner and Dwayne Russell said the Cats duo were likely to be pursued heavily by the AFL as Gillon McLachlan looks for a new deputy.

Hocking appears to be the most “gettable.”

“I think he might be poachable,” Dwayne Russell said.
