Geelong confirms injury to Jeremy Cameron on the eve of finals
Geelong gun Jeremy Cameron won’t play again until finals.
He’s suffered a hamstring injury.
The Cats have ruled their star forward out of their final home and away match against West Coast after he suffered a low-grade hamstring strain on Saturday night.
Rhys Stanley (adductor) will also miss.
It gives the duo three weeks to recover in time for Geelong’s first final.
“Jeremy came to bench late in the final quarter of Saturday’s game against the Gold Coast after reporting some low-level hamstring symptoms,” head of medical and conditioning services Harry Taylor says.
“We chose to take a no risk policy and decided not to have him return to the field.”
