Andrew Gaze denies the Sydney Kings are in a ‘crisis’.

In his classic manner, Gaze told Sportsday there are worse things in life than being last on the NBL ladder.

“Every time I go to a press conference, the journos always use the word ‘crisis’,” Gaze said.

“We’ve got to keep perspective on things. A crisis is what’s happening in South Sudan.

“We are so far from a ‘crisis’ it’s just not funny.”

But Gaze can’t say he hasn’t noticed the Kings’ situation.

“Internally, it’s ripping me to shreds, Dwayne!” he said.
