North Melbourne has won just one of its past three matches, but still sits atop the AFL ladder.
Hot on their heels, however, are the rampaging Hawks, who are warming up as we hit the second half of the season.
North will have to take on the champs without captain Andrew Swallow, key midfielder Ben Cunnington, and leading goal-kicker Jarrad Waite.
Hawthorn, by contrast, only gets stronger, welcoming back star Sam Mitchell among three changes.
Last time these two teams met, tension boiled over as the undisciplined Hawks overstepped the line.
Will tempers flare again in 2016?
