Furry intruder invades a Brighton shop

A Brighton homewares store couldn’t open this morning due to a furry intruder who was exploring the shop.

Manager at Bungalow Trading Co Sarah Lade says passers-by saw the possum inside the store last night, but no one could find it…

“It’s had a very comfortable evening, I think, in the shop,” she told Jacqui Felgate, filling in for Dee Dee.

“He’s knocked over a few little vases but he’s done it very gently.

“This morning there was lots of possum poo.”
