Fund established for victim of alleged Fountain Gate axe attack

Friends of a woman who was allegedly attacked with an axe by her estranged husband at Fountain Gate shopping centre, have set up a fund for the single mother.

The woman was allegedly struck 24 times on her head, back, arms and legs in the beauty salon where she worked, on Monday.

Her friend Natalie has told Neil Mitchell, they feel raising donations is the least they can do.

‘She’s in a bad way, I mean, as you explained with what happened with the attack, it’s horrific,’ Natalie told Neil.
