Four Victorian police officers and former member investigated over alleged leaks and drug use
Four police officers and a former member are under investigation over alleged leaks to criminal figures, as well as illicit drug use.
Three of the suspended officers are detective senior constables from the North West Metro region, the fourth a female senior constable from the Southern Metro Region.
All four have been suspended with pay.
Victoria Police conducted raids on Wednesday over the alleged drug use and release of police information contrary to the Victoria Police Act.
All four officers have been interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
The Age reports at least one of them tested positive for methylamphetamine.
Anti-corruption investigators and force command have previously warned police, especially younger members, about avoiding places frequented by drug traffickers or users, including certain gyms and nightclubs.
