Four people arrested following FIVE burglaries overnight

Victoria Police’s Dog Squad have assisted local officers arrest four people in Victoria’s south-east following five burglaries overnight.

Officers responded to a report multiple offenders were inside an address on Mouth of Powlett Road in Dalyston at around 9pm last night.

Police spotted two vehicles attempting to flee the scene, with one of the vehicles becoming stuck in the bushes, with the occupants fleeing on foot.

Officers were able to find a man and a woman who surrendered to police, while a police dog and his handler were able to find and arrest another couple.

The four people are now assisting police with their enquiries.
