Four charged over alleged attack on autistic teen as police seek more information

Police are appealing for information from the public after a group of teens who allegedly attacked an autistic 14-year-old girl have been arrested and charged with offences.

3AW police reporter, Madelaine Burke, says the girl was allegedly dragged by her hair, hit, and had an energy drink thrown at her head before a man intervened.

“To add insult to injury, footage of this attack shared online, was sent to her older sister,” she told Tom Elliott.
