FOUR cars crash into a Werribee business within 18 months

A Werribee woman says repeated requests for help to improve the safety outside her business have been ignored and she fears someone will be seriously hurt before anything is done.

Four cars have crashed into the building or cars outside a real estate agent on the corner of Werribee Street South and Synnot Street in the past 18 months.

YPA Wyndham City director Kirsty Cunningham says she can’t get any help from Wyndham City Council or VicRoads.

“The council originally said that it was a VicRoads issue … VicRoads then deflect back to the council, so we’re in between both and we’re just not getting anywhere,” she told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Afternoons.

3AW Afternoons has contacted Wyndham City Council for comment and is awaiting a response.
