Forrest tells 3AW of their $400m charity donation ‘delight’

Nicola Forrest tells 3AW there was much debate over her and her husband, Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest’s, record breaking charity donation.

The staggering $400 million gift will be split among charities, $75 million will go to cancer research.

Mrs Forrest spoke with 3AW’s Nick McCallum and said it was a difficult decision to go public, but they are happy with the outcome.

“The reason we made it public was a matter of debate between my husband and myself,” she told Nick McCallum.

“It’s been a delight to see the reaction.”

Nicola told 3AW the much needed funds will make a huge difference in many areas, including funds to help abolish modern slavery.
