3AW Breakfast sports reporter and Herald Sun journalist, Jon “Ando” Anderson wasn’t a fan of Steve Smith’s reaction after being given out in the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria.

Steve Smith struggled at the crease against Victoria, only making a total of three runs across both innings including a four-ball duck in the second innings.

Anderson said Smith’s reaction reminded him of one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket W. G. Grace, who once was bowled first ball and put the bails back on the stumps.

“What sort of example are you setting for young people who idolise you,” Anderson said on 3AW Breakfast.
