The CEO of Flight Centre says Qantas cannot be blamed for lobbying the federal government to deny Qatar Airways their request for additional flight routes.

Graham Turner, who spoke to the senate inquiry into the snubbing yesterday, also says the national carrier will bounce back from their negative image.

“The reality is, of course, domestically, there’s not a whole lot of choice between Qantas Group and Virgin Australia, they have over 90 per cent of the domestic market,” he told Shane McInnes, filling in for Tom Elliott.
