Fishing trawler nets more than 50 World War Two explosive devices

RUMOUR CONFIRMED

A fishing trawler caught more than it bargained for when it netted more than 50 World War Two gun ship detonators.

The detonators were deemed live by explosive experts, who were called to the ship.

They managed to safely transport the explosive devices back to shore.

The Royal Australian Navy took possession of the items.
