‘Fired up about it’: Matthew Lloyd calls for the AFL to scrap the substitute rule
Matthew Lloyd has called for the AFL to scrap the substitute rule, after young Demon Kynan Brown was made the sub against the Lions on Friday night, a week after being made the sub in his debut game.
“We make so many changes to our game, yet we still have the sub rule which nobody likes,” Lloyd said.
“I’m a bit fired up about it.”
