Female-only resort island set to open off Finland

A luxurious resort island off Finland will cater exclusively for women.

The founder of SuperShe, the networking group that plans to open the resort, hopes to attract women for a health-focused retreat.

Kristina Roth told Tom Elliott on 3AW Drive after 20 years at the helm of a management company, she was ready to try something new.

“I had a fairly corporate boring job for the last 20 years of my life,” she said.

“I was ready for something exciting. I was ready to create this sort of dream resort where I would personally love to (go on) vacation.”

Ms Roth said the idea is for women who want to “reinvent themselves”.

“It’s not discriminatory, it’s catered towards the needs of women.”
