Fallen tree branch leaves woman in serious condition at Shrine of Remembrance

A woman in her 50s has been taken to the Alfred Hospital in a serious condition after a tree branch fell on her and two men at the Shrine of Remembrance this afternoon

Caller Craig told Shane McInnes he could see SES, Ambulances and Police at the scene and a tree branch on the stairs near Coventry

“Probably 40 metres just north of the shrine,” he said.

A man in his 20s is in a stable condition at the Alfred and another man in his 20s didn’t require medical attention.
