Experts concerned by workers taking mental health days
Mental health days are slowly becoming a thing in workplaces but there are concerns they can be abused by workers who just want a day off.
Chief executive officer and founder of Reinvention, Vanessa Vershaw, says it’s on both the employee and employer to ensure that mental health days are taken when they’re needed.
“I think the big issue here is around accountability around taking days off for true mental health,” she told Tom Elliott.
