EXCLUSIVE: Jacqui Felgate’s ‘terrifying’ story amid the police industrial action in Victoria

Jacqui Felgate has shed light on a “terrifying” story amid the police industrial action in Victoria, and the closure of several police stations across the state.

“The next story I’m about to tell you is upsetting to say the least, it’s more than that, it’s terrifying for the victim and it was a totally avoidable situation,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“The blame for this should be laid squarely at the feet of the state government,” she said.

“There is no excuse for this, the government needs to step up because the wages policy is a joke.”

Victoria Police then released a statement off the back of Jacqui’s story, which drew a strong response from the 3AW Drive host.

“That is a disgrace, and it just makes my blood boil,” she said about the statement.
