Essendon star says club is determined to snap long-standing stat

Essendon star Andrew McGrath says the club is determined to win its first final since 2004 this season.

Speaking on 3AW, McGrath said the Bombers wanted to win more games than last year and break the well-documented drought.

Essendon last won a final in 2004.

“It’s something we are aware of, we hear about it every time September comes,” McGrath said on Sportsday.
