Essendon president urging members to back him in upcoming board election

Current Essendon president David Barham is up for re-election on the Essendon board and is urging Bomber fans to back him to finish the job he started two years ago.

There are five people including Barham who are going for two board positions. 1985 premiership player Paul Weston and 2000 premiership defender Dean Solomon are among the names on the pursuit for a spot on the rebuilding clubs board.

“The key thing for us is stability, alignment and unity,” Barham said on Wide World of Sports.

“I think we have made a good start, we are two and a half years into this regime and we’ve made a pretty good start.”
