Emergency alerts issued for residents as out of control bushfire rages in the Grampians

It’s now too dangerous for residents in the Bornes Hill and North Boundary Road area to leave with emergency services urging them to stay indoors and act immediately to survive.

Residents in Strathmore have been urged to evacuate as an out-of-control bushfire rages at the Grampians National Park—Yarram Gap Road.

The Glenelg Highway has closed from Dunkeld to Wickliffe as the bushfire heads in a southerly direction, leaving immediately is the safest option.
