‘Embarrassing blunder’: Jacqui Felgate reacts to accidental election announcement

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is set to call the election on Friday, however the department of the Prime Minister and cabinet accidentally announced the election on social media.

Jacqui Felgate reacted to the accidental announcement which has now been deleted on social media, labelling it an “embarrassing blunder”.

“I do feel for the poor social media team that would now have the entire wrath of the Labor party at their back door,” Felgate said on 3AW Drive.
