Education expert weighs in on student petition against strict uniform policy

An education expert has hit back at a campaign by students pushing back against their school’s strict uniform policy.

Students at Emmanuel College have started a petition protesting against the school’s uniform policy which bans nail polish, makeup and mullets.

But former principal of McKinnon Secondary College, Pitsa Binnion, says it’s “very fair” for schools to have “very strict” uniform policies.
