Eddie McGuire says there’s a “real worry” that videos of AFL players using illicit drugs will be used to blackmail players or strike down clubs in finals.

It comes after Pies forward Jack Ginnivan was filmed in a Torquay pub toilet cubical consuming an illicit substance and suspended for rounds one and two.

McGuire told Neil Mitchell the drug policy needs to be tweaked.

“You’re putting a bounty on kids,” he said.

“The taking of these type of videos has become a commodity … you’d hate to have a situation where somebody is collating and pulling together all these videos for a big hit.”

Caller Mary* told Neil Mitchell her son was drafted to Collingwood and was introduced to cocaine at the first club function he attended.

She said his behaviour on the night “ruined his standing” within the club.
