Eddie McGuire vows for fans to show ‘plain decency and sportsmanship’ in the wake of booing controversy
Former Collingwood President, Eddie McGuire, has vowed for AFL supporters to show “plain decency and sportsmanship” towards players in the wake of the booing of Lance Franklin against Collingwood on Sunday.
McGuire believes booing is a part of the game, but wants fans to stop going “overboard” with the targeting booing of players.
“I don’t like the targeted booing of people, never have,” McGuire told Ross and Russel.
