Eddie McGuire goes in to bat for Sally Capp after limo bill in the tens of thousands

TV personality Eddie McGuire has defended Melbourne lord mayor, Sally Capp for spending tens of thousands on limos despite “retiring” the chauffeur-driven car back in 2018.

He says there are protocol for events and she “works hard”.

“They [the MCG] want all the VIPs from the governor-general, to prime minister, to leader of the opposition, to premier, to come in, in cars, roll in, get out and get into the lift that is being held up,” he told Tony Jones.
