Economist responds to grim prediction about interest rates

Some economists are warning Australians to brace for another four interest rate rises by the middle of this year.

Deutsche Bank Australia says interest rates could hit 4.1 per cent.

“I can’t see it happening,” Stephen Koukoulas, Managing Director of Market Economics and former economic adviser to Julia Gillard, told Neil Mitchell.
