Easton Wood’s premiership medal stolen during burglary
A “devastated” Easton Wood has had his premiership medal and other sentimental items stolen while he and his family were isolating in the country.
A World War 1 dog tag, belonging to his wife’s great grandfather was also taken during the robbery, which happened some time between April 14 and April 26.
The Wood’s returned to their Albert Park home to find them both missing, among other items.
Wood was captain when the Dogs broke through to win their first flag in 52 years in 2016.
“We’re heart broken and devastated to have lost our precious items that have immense sentimental value to us. Not to mention the sick feeling of having someone invade your home and go through all your personal items,” Wood said.
