Earthquake shakes town north-east of Melbourne
A small earthquake has rocked a town north-east of Melbourne.
Mansfield resident Deanne says she heard a “boom” noise and felt the earth shake just after 9am.
Director at the Australian Seismological Centre, Kevin McCue, told Neil Mitchell the 2.8 magnitude quake which hit near Toolangi was “certainly not big enough to do any damage but it was maybe felt about 20 to 25km out from there”.
