There’s been outrage about a plea made to the state government by top coroner, John Cain, about pill-testing at festivals after a 26-year-old died.

Senior research fellow at RMIT, Dr Monica Barrett, says drug testing facilities tell people drug use is not safe.

“When you go into the Canberra drug checking service, the first thing you have to do is sign a waver that says you understand that taking drugs can cause harm and that ‘we’re here to talk to you,'” she told Tom Elliott.
