Driver nabbed at St Albans five times the legal limit

A 46-year-old man has been nabbed behind the wheel five times the legal limit at St Albans.

His licence was immediately cancelled for 12 months and his car impounded.

He’s expected to be charged on summons with drink driving offences.

Operation Roadwise continues over the Christmas and New Year period.

The holiday period road toll currently stands at nine.
