Doubtful Samantha Murphy is still alive, according to police

Police remain doubtful missing Victorian mum Samantha Murphy is still alive as the investigation into her disappearance takes another turn.

She hasn’t been sighted since going for a morning run on February 4, with Detective Acting Superintendent Mark Hatt telling Jacqui Felgate the police’s line of inquiry was narrowing.

“We’ve basically eliminated any medical episode for Samantha (Murphy),” he told 3AW Drive.

“That leaves a number of other scenarios and one of those is others being involved in her disappearance.”
