Double murderer on the run

Police have issued a warning to the public, with a double murderer still on the run after breaching his parole.

John Lindrea, 54, killed two people at Kinglake in 1992 and has a history of extreme violence.

He’s also been convicted with escape from prison, armed robbery, burglaries and theft.

Police say Lindrea had a ‘propensity for violence’ and should not be approached.

He was last sighted in Warrnambool around midday on Good Friday.
