Donald Trump arrives back in New York City ahead of arraignment

Donald Trump has arrived at Trump Tower in New York City, where he’s likely to become the first American president to face criminal charges.

The accusations relate to “hush money” paid to an adult film star, the night before the 2016 election.

Extra police have been deployed around the city.
