Doggies receive blow as star player Bailey Smith suffers ACL injury

The Bulldogs have received bad news today as star player Bailey Smith suffered an ACL injury during pre-season training.

Journalist and co-host of the Footyology podcast, Rohan Connolly, says it’s a tragedy for the team.

“It is pretty drastic, not so much in terms of mid-field numbers because they do have a lot of depth there and flexibility but it’s about what he provides,” he told Matt Granland, filling in for Sam McClure.
