Man sounds alarm after dog baiting in Melbourne’s south-east

A Murrumbeena man has sounded the alarm after his 10-year-old schnauzer was left with organ damage following a suspected baiting at a local park.

Lindsay told 3AW’s Tony Jones he was walking Dexter at Boyd Park when he believes the dog was poisoned, and it’s not an isolated incident.

“A fellow down the road from me … he’s got two really wonderful, large dogs and they were both poisoned a week after my dog,” he said.
