Disappointing Dogs looking to “grow”: Bontempelli

Marcus Bontempelli says he hopes the Bulldogs can continue to grow from week to week.

The Bulldog star cut a deflated figure after his side’s heavy defeat at the hands of West Coast on Sunday, saying the side has many areas to improve.

“We’re still a young, inexperienced group that’s learning every week,” Bontempelli told 3AW Football after the game.

“We have to continue on that journey to grow and each week be better.”

Bontempelli said there were moments during the game that showed how well the Dogs can play when they’re at their best.

“We just have to do it for longer,” he said.
