‘Devastating’: David Schwarz weighs in on the speculation surrounding Clayton Oliver’s future

Former Melbourne footballer David Schwarz has admitted it would be “devastating” if Clayton Oliver decides to leave Melbourne to head down the highway to Geelong.

Speculation surrounding the 27-year-old’s future at the club has been growing, after he met with senior figures at Geelong on Tuesday, including a secret second meeting with a couple of Geelong players.

“My understanding is that the club are happy to let him go and explore his options,” Schwarz told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.
